03 Dec 14 UTC | Spring, 1901: Christmas colors! |
03 Dec 14 UTC | Spring, 1901: Very appropriate! :) |
04 Dec 14 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Some crazy names on this map... There's no way these are real places. |
04 Dec 14 UTC | Autumn, 1901: I imagine the creator is from Germany or somewhere near and named them after cities or regions or something like that. Thankfully we have the interactive feature on this map so we don't have to worry about it. Also, so far we're tied in the color war at 8-8. We should keep track of that as we go. It's almost as important as the SC count! |
04 Dec 14 UTC | Autumn, 1901: True, it is also fortunate that they gave us convenient 3-letter abbreviations coupled with the convention of all caps for the seas. That's helpful for making notes to myself, and maybe to you eventually.. ;) I'm thinking I will leave Ail blank as long as possible, just to drive you crazy... ;) |
06 Dec 14 UTC | Spring, 1902: Very appropriate! :) |
06 Dec 14 UTC | Autumn, 1902: I'm not used to it processing on the weekend, so I appreciate the reminder... Even the Celtic game I played was noProcess on Sat/Sun... |
06 Dec 14 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Maybe I should have done that, but since this is going over the holidays I suppose it's best to get used to checking at home now. |
07 Dec 14 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Yeah, that's true.. I see I'm ahead of you by 1 on the color spaces.. 15-14.. haha! |
09 Dec 14 UTC | Autumn, 1903: We should ready up later this afternoon, what do you think? |
10 Dec 14 UTC | Autumn, 1903: To switch to an afternoon process time? Works for me. Let's do it for the build phase. |
10 Dec 14 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Now... now we face off. |
10 Dec 14 UTC | Autumn, 1903: If you'd like, you can ready your builds and I'll set an alarm to ready mine late this afternoon. |
10 Dec 14 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Back to even on the color spaces.. nicely done! 20-20 |
15 Dec 14 UTC | Spring, 1905: Holy crap! I am so completely screwed in this game... It's gonna be over before Christmas! |
15 Dec 14 UTC | Spring, 1905: God, I suck at this game... |
16 Dec 14 UTC | Autumn, 1905: So I thought you might go for Nab which would require you go for Ost rather than Web. I should have trusted myself. To be perfectly honest, though, I used the method I mentioned yesterday. My first instinct is that you would do a joint attack on Nab/Ost, but then I thought you might think I would do that and in the end I decided I wasn't sure how many layers deep you'd think this through, so I flipped a coin to decide on protecting Web or Ost. |
18 Dec 14 UTC | Spring, 1906: Like it really matters.. I'm pretty much hosed now anyway... |
18 Dec 14 UTC | Autumn, 1906: Whoa, I didn't realize you could convert fleets to armies and vice-versa. That would have changed my early game play significantly! I probably would have just grabbed Bri or Mel with an army early and converted it to a fleet instead of moving a fleet the long was around the peninsula. That's cool! |
18 Dec 14 UTC | Autumn, 1906: Haha, yeah, I knew, and I've been wanting to try it out all game... ;) |
