I spent most of hte early game trying to get a truce with you so we could focus on the southerners together, but you ignored that, and Chile sailed into Rio, so I just flung myself into Argentina and tried to hang on 'til one of you two won.

I noticed your truce offer but when I saw the Argentine NMR's I decided to take a riskier tactic. I guess it worked out.
