I have to dispute your statement, Samj. Nobody attacked you as strongly or consistently as France did. I could not figure out why you kept going at me when it was clear that you couldn't take Dus, that I was just holding it while desperately wishing you'd stop France instead of bouncing your head off the wall, and that France was having his way with you. Early in the game, I moved to NJU in what was obviously an attempt to work against Holland. In 1625 I tried to move there again, expecting that you would be moving to protect COL (which I never once made a move on), yet you kept attacking me instead. Holland and I deserve plenty of blame in this for failing to disentangle, but France should send you a thank you card and a gift basket or something.

That comment was aimed more toward Holland. But you are correct, I brought it on myself earlier, and by the time I needed others to let up, it was too late for them to do it. I like the idea of a gift card though...

thx for this nice game. It was my first game on this map and i really enjoy the rules. For France i think it was not very difficult to win, if you bring some patience.
