Congrats bozo, nicely done. The convoy to Van was outstanding. ingie, I accept responsibility for my part in paving the way. My only chance to gain a point from this game was to tip the balance enough in Italy's direction that you'd be forced to stop working for my elimination and accept my help in forcing a draw. That was my intention, and it did not work. Obviously.

My calculation, done several game years ago, when I made the fleet build in Alexandria, I thought that because Italy couldn't reach Scandinavia and so long as I was able to hold on to the Gibraltar area and the Middle East, Italy could be forced to a draw. Unfortunately my expansion in the north became a snail's pace with you blocking, and while I was consciously aware of a possible imminent stab, I still thought I could make a breakthrough in the North immediately and get some SCs to reinforce the south. Obviously that didn't work out. Congrats to Bozo on seizing the day. I guess I knew what was going to happen when I saw the army builds in Sardinia and Sicily but really there wasn't anything I could have done to stop it by then.
