11 Jan 16 UTC | Autumn, 849: GameMaster: West Francia voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has. |
13 Jan 16 UTC | Spring, 850: I believe that is game over. |
13 Jan 16 UTC | Spring, 850: And to be fair, I knew I was close, but I expected Simon to play a little better and hold me back. He did not. |
13 Jan 16 UTC | Spring, 850: Had he not blundered so magnificently, I had planned on getting East Francia into a few more supply centers. |
13 Jan 16 UTC | Spring, 850: I suspected he would assume the move to Atlantic and move the Danes to Baltic Sea so he could cover Anglosaxons. Also, I thought he would realize I had double held quite a bit in Aquitaine and might make a move in the Spring that was different. If he had, he could have gotten Aquitaine. At the very least, I suspected he would move with force to Provence and cause a bounce. In these cases, he would have had a 50/50 with Bretons vs Neustria.b |
13 Jan 16 UTC | Spring, 850: To get to brass tacks, you were in a better position to lose SCs to rathouse than to lose board position on me. |
13 Jan 16 UTC | Spring, 850: Honestly Drew, I don't think I blundered. Henry turning to your side screwed me pretty hard. It was always a race for me to grab that last supply center before you got your fleets into my back line. |
