19 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1: GameMaster: Please remember that negotiations before the game begins are not allowed.
20 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1: Info: This is a choose your country game.
24 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 2: Dear GM,
Can i build new units on conquered territories or are we down to the three original SC ?
24 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 2: Not the GM, but maps will usually specify where they differ from the default rules.
24 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 2: Thanks. I have been there and did not find anything about the rules.
If anybody has rhe answer please let me know.
24 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 2: (the implication was, default rules apply since it's not mentioned anywhere that they've changed)
03 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 5: Bye, everybody.
03 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 5: Bye Persia. remember, next time, that early communication is usually pretty important :-)
10 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 7: Man, I build too many fleets in a normal game. This map is /really/ not helping...

<builds two more fleets>
16 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 9: Oh, lol, direct fleet move doesn't count as using the same path as the convoy. Nice :p
16 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 10: I don't get that at all. My army in Sag attacks Bal, convoyed, and the defeated army gets to 'retreat' to the army's original destination. Who would have thought that?
16 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 10: It has surprised me as well in an earlier game.
16 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 10: I mean, I guess you can reason it out from the fact that you have the option to choose between "land" and "convoy" when moving along a coast that has fleets in place (indicating that going there directly, and going via a fleet are different movement options) if you didn't already know the rule, but it's frankly hilarious to see in action, especially as a retreat.
16 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 10: In this case, no great damage as the outcome is already fairly clear and so its just annoying. But in a more critical situation, where a campaign or game is in the balance, it would be an issue. Its an illogical result, that an outnumbered, defending fleet ends up on the opposing army coast. But anyway, there it is and I'm glad to have learned it in this situation. Might be worth mentioning as an anomaly to the game masters though.
16 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 10: It's not an anomaly - it's entirely consistent with the game rules, that two units can actually swap positions so long as they use different methods of travel.

It's this map, requiring armies to be convoyed to reach Bal from coastal provinces that count as adjacent for fleets, that caused any 'issue', if functioning exactly as per standard rules can be classified as such.
16 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 10: Just confirming that I'm bouncing Thap.
16 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 10: ...well shit
18 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 10: Three more SCs to go.
18 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 10: Indeed but still keeping up the moral of the troops.
They are in nice company !
29 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 13: What is this?
Someone intends to keep fighting even though he should have won?
