10 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1960: Quite fitting I think, that I am NATO and you are you beloved Russia (aka USSR).
10 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1960: I have absolutely no clue about this map. I have never played it. The only maps I have ever played have been the classic European map and a map called The Ancient Mediterranean (which has supply centres like Rome and Athens and Carthage).
10 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1960: Don't forget if you want to refresh the map press the BOARD tab at the top of the screen (just to the left of HOME). Don't fresh the browser.
10 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1960: Always click SAVE after entering or adjusting orders, and then click BOARD and make sure your moves have been saved.
10 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1960: See this page for information about this map:

10 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1960: With this map you probably will need to regularly look at the large map (click the large map icon just below the middle of the bottom of the map) because some territories are too small to view properly on the small map.
10 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1960: I'll have to put my moves in later. Chores to do now.
10 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1960: Have they changed things? Where's the interactive map icon?
10 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: I was expecting a 'Build' round. Now we move again. Have I missed something?
11 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: Each year is divided into two main phases. Spring and Autumn. We just did the Spring phase. In order to capture a supply centre you must occupy it during the Autumn phase. The Autumn phase is then followed by the builds phase. During the builds phase the difference between the number of supply centres you own and the number of units you have on the field is equalized, meaning you may either build units or you may be forced to remove units. You can only build in your home supply centres. So always try to keep enough home SCs unoccupied during the Autumn phase.
12 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: My move to W.Germany was supported by fleet in Baltic yet bounce against only 1 of your units. How does that work? Really enjoying game :-)
13 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: No you supported yourself to East Germany. Click the Orders tab beneath where our powers/names are listed (next to archive) and you will a written listing of all moves.
13 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1961: The Baltic does not share a border with West Germany. Look at the big map and this is clearer.
13 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1961: lol OK thanks
14 Feb 16 UTC It takes 17 Supply Centres to win this map.
14 Feb 16 UTC Which means I will most likely to win on the next move.
14 Feb 16 UTC This is a difficult map in some respects. You are probably best of learning to play on the regular European map because it is easy to read. The Western European territories on this map are particularly hard to read (which is why you need to press the large map button underneath the map to view a higher resolution map. This makes it easier to see how territories are connected).
14 Feb 16 UTC I suggest you read the official rules. Specifically the section on cutting support. Tactically this is the most important thing you have to understand.

Here is a summary:
1. If a supporting unit is attacked from any other territory other than the territory to which a supported attack is being given then that support is cut.
2. That support is cut even if the attack fails. Thus you cannot cut the cutting of support (some thing that Cuz learned recently when he lost a game that he should have won... he was very close to beating a highly ranked player, but he misunderstood this rule and it cost him the game).
