03 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1901: GameMaster: Please remember that negotiations before the game begins are not allowed.
03 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Info: This is a choose your country game.
03 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1901: FOr what I've learnt from the previous game the 1vs1 games are about letting your SC's free while taking other SC's.
It's OK to practice but at the same time they're frustrating :)

I didn't know you weren't allowed to build in the SC's you conquered.

Every map has different rules. That's confusing.
03 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Most maps do not allow you to build outside your home SC's.
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: After you retreat I'll leave it until tomorrow morning. This is the final part of the game and I want to think every move with time.
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: I think you've won anyway
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: I think I'm close to the victory but... I will never say that if you're also playing in that game :)
04 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: Only one more SC to get for you!
04 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1905: Things are turning even... You see? You're still better than me on Web Diplomacy :)
04 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1905: Darn!!!
04 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1906: This is more difficult than standard games :) It all depends on tiny details.
04 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Do you prefer this or the standard game?
04 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Neither :) To be honest. I prefer this one because there's no room for betrayals, immoral behaviours and vendettas. But at the same time this is "too intense" for someone my age :)
04 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: And now you've almost won...
I felt the same with the previous game. France was pushing Austria back and only needed a few more turns to win.
04 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1907: Hmm, I haven't almost won. Your on the verge of winning too!!!

The game is about speed and creative thinking. As its a race to 18, you really need to make every move and ever unit count. Mistakes are much more costly here.
04 Jun 16 UTC I made a huge mistake with Munich last turn. I need glasses to see the borders :)
04 Jun 16 UTC I don't have any opportunities to make new SC's and you can easily find a hole in my defences. You're going to win.
04 Jun 16 UTC GameMaster: Austria voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
04 Jun 16 UTC :)
04 Jun 16 UTC would you like another game?
