29 Sep 16 UTC Good game lads!
29 Sep 16 UTC Honestly, you still could have tried, the frontline was still in flux
29 Sep 16 UTC I think the two best decisions I made this game was ignoring Rome taking Dalmatia and pressing on with the offensive even when Persia managed to slip a fleet into the Aegean Sea (ie not diverting significant resources from the frontline to chase it). The worse decision I made was deciding to fight Egypt instead of Carthage, despite my disadvantage in fleet numbers.
29 Sep 16 UTC Good game all. I was going OK until I made a mistake, losing my 8th centre to Persia. From then, I was reliant on the mercy of Greece, but fortunately Carthage made a change, so the mercy came quickly. Thanks to Greece for very comprehensively moving away in the east, so I could concentrate on defending. I was going to give up Cyrene this turn and hope to set a line on 6 centres. I was not 100% sure it was going to work to tell the truth...
29 Sep 16 UTC Carthage made a "charge" not a change sorry.
