23 Oct 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: Hi cake |
23 Oct 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: Hey bud! This will be fun. |
23 Oct 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: Cake? |
23 Oct 16 UTC | Spring, 1902: You only got two builds. There will occasionally be times when you don't need all possible builds in a turn, but in general you should always try to get as many as you can. In this case, you should have moved Brest to Paris, and EC (short for English Channel) to Brest. Then you would have gotten 3 builds. You also should have moved Norway to either Sweden or St. Pete in order to gain control further along the board - you are essentially racing me for control of as much territory as possible. |
23 Oct 16 UTC | Autumn, 1902: I did that before I read my mail!!! |
23 Oct 16 UTC | Autumn, 1902: And now, remember that you only can build a maximum of three each year. [Some variants allow for more, but not this one.] So make sure you get three, but don't worry about more than that. |
24 Oct 16 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Also remember that the game ends when one of us reaches 18 centers. |
28 Oct 16 UTC | Spring, 1904: Right |
28 Oct 16 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Nice convoy to Denmark. As you noticed, you can only convoy one army with the same fleet. |
28 Oct 16 UTC | Autumn, 1904: The support hold in Western Mediterranean was not necessary, since I had only the fleet in Tyrrhenian Sea. You could have bounced me at Gulf of Lyon, or taken the supply center in Tunis. Now that we've got units bumping into each other, you'll learn some more about supports, and good attack/defense strategies. |
28 Oct 16 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Let me know when you've read that, and I will ready my orders so we can move to the next turn. |
