14 Dec 16 UTC | Autumn, 1882: Is there anyone mother English speaking who can check this transaltion for me? It is very short! "This concert is like a travel around the world and a trip down the time. It is a musical road among the cultures and the traditions of many different folks. From the Italian “opera” of Verdi and Rossini, to the folk music and the contemporary music, this musical travel will climb over the wall of the time thanks to the incredible versatility and expressive skills of the saxophone quartet. |
14 Dec 16 UTC | Autumn, 1882: As a native American English speaker, that sounds pretty good! |
14 Dec 16 UTC | Autumn, 1882: Anything you would change? |
14 Dec 16 UTC | Autumn, 1882: PS...if you need translations in italian...I'm available :-) |
14 Dec 16 UTC | Autumn, 1882: I might change "to the folk music and the contemporary music" to "to the folk and contemporary music" but that's all |
14 Dec 16 UTC | Autumn, 1882: Thanks so much...I can get your feeling of solidarity as we both look like the next victims of this game. |
14 Dec 16 UTC | Autumn, 1882: It makes perfect sense as is but I think a few things are awkwardly phrased. I would change the word travel in the first and third lines to either trip or journey. You travel when on your trip. Secondly, I would remove "down the" in the first sentence and say "a trip through time" instead. |
15 Dec 16 UTC | Autumn, 1882: thanks a lot to all!! If you need translations in italian and swedish I'm available. |
