02 Sep 17 UTC Well played guys. Considering you were all 3 on the same page now i didn't feel a desire to keep pushing for a solo. It was unlikely i was still going to grab 3 sc's.

I was stuk for a very long time against a strong austria and an England that was chasing after my territories. A big thank you to italy for grabbing Lvp which opened a way for me to make waves north.
02 Sep 17 UTC stuck*
03 Sep 17 UTC Well played all survivors. I'm happy I survived Austria's aggressive start. After that it was a long battle in which Austria defended excellently, and when I finally broke through it was too late. Russia was far too long gone so the only remaining play was to hit the stalemate.
04 Sep 17 UTC I admit I was freaking out over Turkey's delay in pulling the stab. I even wondered whether he had forgotten that it was a WTA game. Luckily, he was able to pick up one SC at the last possible moment, and I left my fleet in MAO with only two supports just to see what he would do. When that support came through, I breathed a sigh of relief.
04 Sep 17 UTC Glad to have caused you some anxiety ;) Actually it wasn't much luck. In my view it was all under control and we had at least one more year to take Rum (which was always going to be forcable). Sure it was just a matter of time until Russia would have taken Paris and Brest, but Iberia and Mar were never in any real danger, so 17 was the max he was going to have. Which I believe is also why he set draw in the end.
