17 Jul 17 UTC	Congratulations tantrumizer! I was so disappointed to once again be dealt the Austrian card. Even though the start was solid, once Italy starts knocking on your door there is so limited opportunity to expand East. So fed up with this empire haha.

17 Jul 17 UTC	Congrats Tantrunmizer. What a bad timing to convoy to england. Sorry Doc. But thats the nature of FoW. On another perpective, I have just won another FoW as Germany (gameID=31391) and I should have expected G would profit from intestine wars between its neighbours. G signalized supports in bur region and i felt safe to make the assault. Supports as signs of alliance should not be read as formal declarations, in FoW, as usually only one or two players can see the "offer of peace". My bad call, sorry guys.

17 Jul 17 UTC	@BobRoss... I am not sure why, but I've had good results as Austria in FoW Gunboat (3 solos from 5-6 attempts(?)). Better than I've done with other countries actually, so hang in there. :-)
17 Jul 17 UTC	@CCR actually I did want peace with you. The move to Burgundy was purely some insurance as my unit in Belgium was exposed. I didn't even support the unit in, but then you moved away and there I was in France. Then I was still exposed with Belgium due to your unit in Gascony, so I felt I had to just jump in and attack. Of course, it worked well, as you were full blast against England by then, but it was kind of an accidental attack on my part really.
17 Jul 17 UTC	@Tantrumizer. Haha, thanks for giving me a beacon of hope. I've drawn Austria a huge percentage of my total FoW Gunboats. Apart from 1 solo it pretty much always goes downhill after the first year. If Italy goes after France you get a fair shot, yet if Italy is putting full force on Austria it will always require too many defensive units and offer Turkey and Russia ample opportunity to eat away any of your gains in the east. Yet, i will most definitely do a study of your Austrian solo's then ;-)
17 Jul 17 UTC	I got curious and it turns out I've had 3 solos from 8 FoW games as Austria. Much better than my 0 Austrian solos from many, many games in other forms of Dip!

18 Jul 17 UTC	Nice job Germany, I was quite oblivious to anything going on past Austria, never saw a single unit or territory with your color :) I was kind of hoping we might be approaching a draw actually, hah. Russia and Austria were pressing pretty hard on me from day one, so I had to go for some of Italy's SCs in order to survive, sorry about that. A strong Italy might have been able to do something about Germany but then again, I was pretty clueless about that. Gonna have to rewind and see what actually happened.
18 Jul 17 UTC	Great win, German. I make my peace to France and German from beginning and start attacking Austria. However, Turkey starts attacking me and then I am busy on dealing with that errant ship to be able focusing on others. Afterward, I saw opportunity in Iberian peninsula since Austria has strong defense then I saw German fleet and English demise. I realized that German has grown more, but I was hopeful that Russia can still contain him. Suddenly, another Turkey ship came again while I am preparing to have showdown with German power in Marseilles. I scrambled my ship to be able to handle that incursion but losing momentum to make difference in the end.
