Autumn, 2001: I believe we just witnessed Peruvian suicide. That opening did look troubling, and I'm not surprised it turned out that way for Peru. |

Autumn, 2001: Good luck every1 |

Autumn, 2001: Sometimes off the wall strategies work; more often, they end up like I have. Its been a pleasure. |

Autumn, 2001: Adios Peru, sorry to jump on you like that :-/ |

Autumn, 2001: Until someone tries a crazy opening, we have no idea how it might surprisingly play out. An interesting try. |

Spring, 2002: Sorry Peru. It's always tricky to leave a corner to expand with such a good defensive position. |

Spring, 2002: Looks like war is on with Florida, CA is on our side but also heading north, going to snag at least 1 free center to make up for New Mexico. I'm issuing orders to go north and I really don't want to have to worry about Panama or more fleets in the Caribbean. I'll already have a guessing game of Florida to deal with, potentially with a convoy. |

Spring, 2002: @Cuba - was that meant to be a global post? |

Spring, 2002: Either way, that makes things awkward. |

Autumn, 2002: Very awkward. Or reverse psychology. Depends on how much credit you give me for the strategy. |

Autumn, 2002: I should let you all know that I'll likely be without power for the next couple days on account of the hurricane. I'll check in through my phone when I can, but if I don't respond, at least you know why. Good luck all! |

Autumn, 2002: You too, stay safe. |

Autumn, 2002: NY - put in a pause vote when you can. Then if all of us see you haven't entered a move and we're getting to the last 12 hours, we can pause the game for you. While I would certainly benefit from you not moving, I'd rather have a fair fought game and want to extend this courtesy. |
11 Sep 17 UTC |
Autumn, 2002: An extend would be easier, more likely to go through in time. |
11 Sep 17 UTC |
Autumn, 2002: I'd go an extend, but dislike pauses. You can get everything good from a pause with an extend, with less people needed to pass it. |
11 Sep 17 UTC |
Autumn, 2002: True - how many are needed to pass an extend? |
