Well done Ender and YCHTT. I think I could have gotten to 17 few turns ago, but I had no way of getting into Messenian or Libyan so it was a lost cause. Great stalemate.

Superb play by Persia to get "thisclose" to the win. Luckily Greece and I got on the same page in time. Frankly I thought Greece played an inferior position extremely well to force the draw. I considered going for the solo but gave it up a while ago (it was not in the cards). Agree that getting into and holding on to Libyan was huge for keeping things bottled up. Good game all around.

Honestly I think you could have had it at one point. The south is not stalemated and you could have eventually taken Memphis. I actually considered the possibility of trying for a 17/17 draw in a gunboat... But would have been quite difficult.

I would never have allowed the 17/17. I would have tempted one or the other to take that 18th from me. It was a delicate balancing act knowing who to trust on any given turn in the end game when it was just us three. :-)
