14 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1570: well this is no good, I am basically a big target with a 3 supply head start, Why couldn't they just start me with 3 ;-;
14 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1570: well good luck and have fun everyone ^-^
14 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1570: Oda is right - let's all pile on him so he doesn't run away with it ;)
14 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1570: Agreed! Good luck everyone
14 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1570: Wish everyone good game. I believe it with be good game.
14 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1570: Good luck everyone (except oda, with your headstart)
15 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1570: Anyone else a bit surprised about the whole coastal region thing? Pretty cool, I hope it gets used more.
15 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1570: It's interesting yes, still getting used to it though.
15 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1570: Yeah, I'm quite excited. I'll probably love this map. So many possibilities, even in 5 players :) Also the Shikoku islands is pretty interesting. From Kumano Sea you can't move into Harima for example, right? Pretty well designed!
15 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1570: Yes the coastal regions add a new level of strategy that will be interesting to explore.
16 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1571: Let's hope we do get a chance to explore them before Oda comes and kills us all XD
02 Dec 17 UTC GameMaster: Mori voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
02 Dec 17 UTC Pretty much screams draw here.
02 Dec 17 UTC Yup, there's no reason to go for a 2-way draw in this situation with a 50%+1 win condition (would still be risky with a higher one anyway).
02 Dec 17 UTC gg all. Interesting dynamic with the coastal regions. I'll have to give it another try.
02 Dec 17 UTC Good game everyone. Bad luck Oda and Hojo. The coastal mechanics was good I thought, but took a few turns to get used to. I also wonder if Oda needs to break down both potential alliances in order to win.
02 Dec 17 UTC Yeah - I'm thinking if I start with Oda on this map, I need to make friends with one of the smaller nations on each side and help them out, and work thing from there more in balance with one of them so that things don't get out of hand. There is an awful lot of pressure to hammer on Oda early in this one. Oda would definitely have a major advantage in Gunboat on this map, however, with the other powers coordinating more clumsily and even squabbling nervously.
02 Dec 17 UTC And thanks Shim for being a good partner. I'm sure the temptation was there to take advantage at times, but I'm not sure if that would have turned out so well as it would have just opened up things for Oda or Uesugi at various stages. A stab between us probably only would have worked if there was equally heated fight in the north and the opportunity for one of us to gain dominant position - that never happened here.
