16 Dec 17 UTC | Spring, 1901: Looks I get the challenge of Germany :) |
16 Dec 17 UTC | Autumn, 1901: indeed indeed ^^ |
16 Dec 17 UTC | Autumn, 1901: good luck my friend |
17 Dec 17 UTC | This is ridiculous - Russia has a serious advantage with the extra unit to start and a guarantee of two builds in year 1. |
17 Dec 17 UTC | GameMaster: Germany voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat. |
17 Dec 17 UTC | Well I was curious, now I know. |
17 Dec 17 UTC | ya its pretty bad I think the fairest games are france verse austria, england verse turkey (though its abit boring) and the frankgermany verse russia turkey |
17 Dec 17 UTC | This one is a holy mess for Germany - was curious if Germany had a good approach. Any ideas? I clearly missed it. |
17 Dec 17 UTC | umm like if you can force russia to defend warsaw that is very very good, but its different with every game right... I knew that a bounce in sweden was likely and that if I could force you to defend your home centers you were going to be on the weaker end of things |
17 Dec 17 UTC | It's bad when you need to guess right just to tread water. |
17 Dec 17 UTC | that is the issue... if they made petersburg neutral for this I think it'd probably be more fair... |
17 Dec 17 UTC | Without St Pete, Russia would have no chance because it could not build fleets on the north side of the stalemate line. I think start Russia with Moscow or Warsaw as neutral. That would stall Russia a bit to allow Germany to catch up some. |
17 Dec 17 UTC | hmm maybe I wonder what a france verse russia would be like but france also started with munich |
