28 Feb 18 UTC | Congrates Italy. I try to play a bit different and playling slowly and defence. At the end i was waiting if England or France attacks me. Its an interesting variant. One time i forget that i just can build in one SC. GG! |
28 Feb 18 UTC | Agreed, congratulations to Italy! Somehow you figured out how to isolate me, and once I could not get France to turn on you or Russia to help me, I knew I was done for. Your ability to get Trieste at the start of the game as one of your home centers told me you were gonna be a handful. That is why I came at you aggressively at the start, hoping one of your other neighbors would do the same. When France supported your fleet, and Germany left you alone, I realized I would be your next target. You had fleet superiority over me, so that spelled Turkey's doom. Well played Dr! |
28 Feb 18 UTC | Fun game. Everything just seemed to work in my favor, with France and Germany needing to keep attention on England and each other. Joe, I appreciate the solid, easy alliance. You did a great job of communicating your intentions, and of maintaining a defensible position relative to all of your neighbors. If I didn't have the chance to solo, I would not have attacked you. England's attack on Russia, resulting in Russia's retaliation, opened the door for me further. Can't fault you for it, taylor, as at the time a three-way draw with me and France was perhaps more likely than my winning. Good battle Major, but you're correct - the circumstances gave me the advantage. Let's play another! gameID=33927 |
01 Mar 18 UTC | I'm up for another! The Dr is right - after England attacked, I had the choice of being swallowed by Italy or by England, and there was no way I was letting England do it after they took from me the only chance I had at survival (and, in my opinion, threw their own chances of victory). |
01 Mar 18 UTC | Good game, all, and well played Italy! |
01 Mar 18 UTC | Although I prefer something faster-paced than 2 days/phase (I'm really impatient). Does anyone fancy something like the 1 day/p we've just played? |
