20 Jun 18 UTC	gg everyone - my apologies for the NMRs as we are in the midst of relocating. Great play by Denmark throughout - honestly thought you had a decent chance at a solo. You were a solid ally. Byzantium and Spain (as a replacement) deserve kudos as well. I know my play was rather unimaginative, but from the early years it was clear that my only real hope was to slog it out enough to be part of the draw. Thanks for letting me be a part of it.
20 Jun 18 UTC	Gg everyone! Why would one of you withhold their draw vote for so long? Other than making me look bad :D Ender, thanks for the long alliance! It's been a pleasure to work together with almost no thoughts that you were gonna stab me. Any thoughts of a solo on my part included taking over most of your territory as well, which would've made Buz, Arb and one of the past Spains unify to stop me quite fast. My main aim for playing this game was to try out the variant and stabbing you for 7-8 centers didn't seem to be worth it. I had my draw vote in even before we took out Araby.

20 Jun 18 UTC	Very good skills Denmark and also to Germany for keeping an alliance like that, in Gunboat, work so well. Completely prevented me from any kind of breakout. Thanks for the safe border Byz.
21 Jun 18 UTC	GG! Thank you Spain for not attacking me. I had my vote up long before Arabia was gone. Who was the hold out? I thought it was Denmark because he was going to try and solo, so I was very glad when Germany backed off from my border and moved back to defend himself.
21 Jun 18 UTC	I have to confess that i was the hold-out although I didn't realise at the time. I assumed that Denmark was going for the win... certainly I would have in his case, so i didn't think there was any point in pressing draw. Attacking you would have been crazy Byz, I was already sorely pressed by the Danish-Germans and a safe border in Gunboat is a precious thing.
