11 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1939: Wow... It doesn't look good for me...
17 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 1941: I picked France to win this March Madness, and Virginia to win the NCAA March Madness. I sure know how to pick them huh? haha
28 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1943: I have to say this is looking really suspicious. France could not be doing more to fully assist Britain in this game. The French moves make absolutely no logical sense whatsoever if he is trying to succeed. France is being a complete patsy to Britain who is having an easy run now. It makes zero strategic sense from France's point of view. Should I ask the MODS to take a look at the two players involved?
28 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1943: I doubt anything's going on there. As soon as France realized they were going down they offered to help me as well. I think they're just trying to make the most of their fallout.
29 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1943: France was not going to go down. He had rock solid support from me and Germany and that didn't change until the stupidest and most pointless of 'stabs' on me in Algiers, which Britain promptly took.

I've played over 100 games on this site and what I've seen in this game strongly suggests some kind of collusion. One player appears to be deliberately throwing the game in another's favour.
29 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1943: Just so that everyone knows, I've asked the MODS to take a quick look at this. France's behaviour is completely irrational and so either he is one of the worst players in vDip or there may be something else going on.
29 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1943: I didn't know that invoking the mods was a strategy. Should I have asked the mods to investigate when I was attacked by Italy in Egypt?
30 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1943: Nothing about asking the MODS when being attacked. But France's behaviour denies any logic or reason in a game. I cannot explain it in any way within the game context. Can anyone, really?

And I've seen this kind of thing before. Its suspicious, so I've asked the MODS to look at it.
30 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1943: Haha, a collusion investigation, just what this game was missing! :D It's all a Democrat plot anyway!

Doesn't look suspicious at all to me, but that's your prerogative. I'm sure the Mods will agree, if they even bother to look at it.
30 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1943: If the MODS say its fine, I'm happy with that. But I've been in games before where people have colluded and MODS stepped in. The pattern here is suspicious and I'm asking for it to be checked. They'll look at the players and determine if there are any patterns between them. If I'm wrong, then that's fine and perhaps its just France is the stupidest player on vDip.
30 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1943: Italy, you are insulting France on the global chat. Do you think that will get him to start helping you?
30 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1943: That is not my purpose. This is also only a 5 player game, so its not a large audience. He also hasn't said a word to me on the topic, neither here or privately. His play makes absolutely no sense in the context of a player making decisions in his own best interest, even allowing for poor decisions. The choices France is making is maximising the benefit to you alone.

If you and he have nothing to hide then I'm fine with that. But lets see what the Mods say, the ticket is open.
30 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1943: When will all the haters and fools out there realize that having a good relationship with Britain is a good thing, not a bad thing. There always playing politics - bad for our country. I want to solve North Africa, Switzerland, Ukraine, terrorism, and Britain can greatly help! MAKE EUROPE GREAT AGAIN! #MEGA
31 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 1944: @Italy, those kind of insults are just unnecessary. Please keep them to yourself and don't sour the chat. You've let us know you opened a ticket now let the mods do their work and let's get back to the game.
31 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 1944: Again, they are not insults nor intended as such. Calling them an insult doesn't make it so. Look at the behaviour for yourself, despite you indirectly benefiting from it...
01 Apr 18 UTC Spring, 1944: "the stupidest player on Vdip" is an insult last time I checked.
01 Apr 18 UTC Spring, 1944: Yeah well take a look at it yourself dude. He is attacking me and Germany while disbanding in front of Britain who is eating him alive. That can only be the worst possible play, or something else... what would you call it?
02 Apr 18 UTC Autumn, 1944: If they're going down anyway then they're simply choosing who gets to reap the spoils. I'd do the same.
02 Apr 18 UTC Autumn, 1944: No. He had a rock solid alliance and a defensible position. There is no practical reason to hand all his territories to one player while blindly attacking others. In playing these games, the one assumption we make is that players will make rational decisions, even if poor ones, on behalf of their own 'country'. In this case, either France has been playing the worst I've ever seen - or something else is going on. In either case it has distorted and unbalanced the game.
06 Apr 18 UTC Autumn, 1945: Hey folks, I'm going to be away this weekend and I'd appreciate a pause or extend! Thank you!
