23 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: Hello! |
23 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: Hello all, and good luck. So we can assume that all press, like the assignments, is anonymous? |
23 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: I guess I'm thinking not, now, since I can see there there is color branding assigned to the press script...... |
23 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: Yeah, you're England. I'm France. |
23 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: Well, I'm still in a fog. Care to bounce the Channel? or avoid it altogether? I'm pretty sure that Germany would prefer I bounce you......right Otto? |
23 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: @Austria, it would be unfortunate if we came to clash. |
23 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: @Russia, would you like to keep the Black Sea open and work together potentially? |
23 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: @ Germany & England: Let's not clash unnecessarily. |
23 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: @France that could be achieved through a Gentelmen's agreement about Holland and Belgium. |
23 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: Have you guys never researched about the power dynamics in this game. France, Germany, and England have to clash if one of you guys wants to win. I'm just curious about who will betray who |
23 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: @Germany -- Actually it would be suicide if we went to war. @Italy -- DMZ Tyrolia? @Russia & Turkey -- Care to come to an even split of the balkans? |
23 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: What type of split were you thinking. You get Seria, I get Bulgaria, and Russia gets Rumania? |
23 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: @Austria I am glad we are on the same page. @ Russia, would you care to hold of the hostilities? |
24 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: @Turk -- Yes, something like that. Question then is who gets Greece.. though I suppose that depends in large part whether Italy and/or Russia are willing to have peace. |
24 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: @myheadisspinning |
24 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: @ Germany: I would be happy to split the two. You, I assume, will take Holland and I Belgium? Furthering that, would you like to enter in some kind of additional agreement? |
24 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: @ Germany: Also, I should warn you that my army in Paris will be moving to Burgundy. This move allows me to protect Marseilles from Italy if necessary and let's me look at what you are doing with Munich. In strategy games knowledge is powerful and this variation limits the knowledge we have. Sending recon units isn't a bad idea. |
24 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: I understand the move, Iam more than fine with letting you have belgium in exchange for me keeping Holland |
24 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: @Italy & Russia -- You there? Have to take measures to protect myself if you remain silent |
24 Jul 18 UTC | Spring, 1901: You can't be friends with everyone.. what are you going to do in the Fall? |
