02 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 1901: VongoleMan, you are now my apprentice. Our learning method will be, Question, Reflection, then Analysis. We will take things one at a time. For now the reason I chose this particular map is because we can learn about stalemates. Also, through 1v1, you can learn more about how military tactics are based on the recognition of both of our existence. I will ask you the first question. "What moves do you think I would order right now?" |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 1901: if you would attack me, you'd probably go through Pie. |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 1901: How about my fleet in Brest and my troops in Paris? |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 1901: so you can attack me and you'd also go to Bel., Munich, and Ruhr to expand |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 1901: Now submit your moves. |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 1901: Brest would go through the English channel... and Paris would move east i think |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1901: done do i click READY? |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Oh. I'd appreciate it if you would comment all your thoughts in one message. |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1901: I didn't see that second comment after i wrote submit your moves. |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1901: ok |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1901: What do you see? |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1901: you're going north |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Alright. I want you to observe more. Look harder. If that is the only thing you can see.. then it means I have a lot of things to teach you. And respond with more thought. If you look carefully, all my troops have a SC (Supply Center, or the dot) that they can move to. Meanwhile, you can see that your troops don't. You have to be aware of the fact that a city is only annexed during Autumn. Be careful of this point. Also, you may click ready whenever. I will click save just so I can explain before we go on to the next season. |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1901: And always respond to my messages. Just so that I know you read it, and that you have reflected. You can respond with a reflection of how your moves may affect your next phase. |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1901: I see. I think you're going north so you can expand and take more SCs. So, I think the army in Pic. is going to take Bel. and the fleet will go to London. The other army will probably go to Munich to its SC. All in all, you're going to cities with SCs in them to make reserve forces. |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Yes, that is a very accurate analysis. What of your own situation? |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Since we both tried to go for München, we both tried to expand the number of SCs we want. So, Bel. will try to take Holland (Hol) and the fleet will probably go towards the North Sea. All of your troops are moving in one direction, but are spread out a little. |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Good. Hmm.. I see that you don't understand the implications of your own moves. You're currently only looking at me. For now I say that we just play this game out. And then the next game we play, we can have a learning session. For now lets just play a duel session. |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1901: My situation: I'm trying to get some reserve forces also but you took München, so I'm going to support the army in Bohemia into München from Vienna or Tyrolia. As for my fleet, I'll probably go to Apu. |
02 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 1902: Good. Let us play this through for now. |
