11 Apr 19 UTC Spring, 1880: GameMaster: Britain voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
08 May 19 UTC GG. Nice job.
08 May 19 UTC Good game.
08 May 19 UTC Britain, why didn't you eliminate Russia? You can do it easily and I had support you to his SCs.
08 May 19 UTC I am sorry France. My opening was against u. I want to cooperate with Russia to build a line against Japan. But Russia had his own strategy.
Funny game and good collaboration of the survivors vs Japan.
08 May 19 UTC I wasn't sure to be able of defending my borders so I support Russia which didn't attack me during the game.
Congratulate my tough neighbours: Turkey, China & France and specially the virtual winner, Japan. GG
08 May 19 UTC Colonial is a fun but quite imbalanced variant, that heavily favors Japan and Britain. Achieving a result that does not include those powers (e.g. an own Solo which is hopefully the main objective of all attendants) requires unified cooperation by the remaining powers in the early phases of the game (if Japan and Britain do a good job).
I would like to acknowledge that the defeated members played a strong game, too. While Japan and Britain definitely played a decent game, I believe, that Holland was primary a victim of the unequal starting positions. When I took my share of your land I was actually speculating on a bounce with Japan or Britain, as I greatly appreciated your pressure on Britain. China finally felt victim to the failing cooperation between the remaining powers. Glad that at least our own border conflicts quickly resolved and we were following compatible strategies.

Good game everyone. Hope to see you again in other games that will hopefully not just end in a 5-way-draw. ;-)
08 May 19 UTC Yes. I love playing Holland. It’s like being Austria on islands! :) I think when it’s not gunboat, it is easier because you can work with people more easily. But great game to everyone, hope to see you all again as friend or foe. :)
