11 Mar 19 UTC | Spring, 1902: Good Morning. |
11 Mar 19 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Monday morning... |
11 Mar 19 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Ouch, that was rather aggressive, don't you think? I assume it is Home SC builds only ??? |
11 Mar 19 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Sorry - didn't mean to be rude! ;) yes - home sc only |
11 Mar 19 UTC | Spring, 1903: counter-sorry; I was referring to your opening move (no rudeness taken). Didn't even think of you doing such a huge fleet build. You may have me already. |
12 Mar 19 UTC | Autumn, 1903: I was lucky with the Pie bounce in S02 - it was really important |
12 Mar 19 UTC | Autumn, 1903: but it's never too late for Germany in this math-up |
13 Mar 19 UTC | Autumn, 1905: Can't tell an SC without a score card. And I made concessons to get Munich open so that I might have all 3 SC's open. HA! |
13 Mar 19 UTC | Autumn, 1905: Would you like to play it out? or, would you prefer that one of us concede? |
13 Mar 19 UTC | Autumn, 1905: Doesn't matter to me - |
13 Mar 19 UTC | Spring, 1906: Me either, Go ahead and hit the concede button. There's no shame in it. Not like it's an NMR or anything. I don't see a path that can get the requisite SC's in time. Let go.... |
13 Mar 19 UTC | Autumn, 1906: Nice try, loser. |
14 Mar 19 UTC | Autumn, 1906: So; more irony than could be expected to be born. After entering 3 moves I hit the ready button in error. I expect that this action will open up that path to success for you. (Actually I don't expect too much difference as we are so locked-up.) In this case the honorable thing is to allow me one unhindered fall move. Keep in mind that if you choose not to take this advice; word will spread how you took advantage of an ailing senile old man. Jim / Savwa4 |
14 Mar 19 UTC | Autumn, 1906: I had already won - there was nothing you could do. |
14 Mar 19 UTC | Spring, 1907: Are you new to this game? |
15 Mar 19 UTC | Spring, 1907: I'm just joking around with you about the re-do and when I saw you did a giant 'hold' i lol'd. I've been playing since Early-mid 1970's. Back then you sent your diplomacy & orders on something called post cards. Then once a month (if you were lucky) you got a booklet that had an article and order/ build lists for the current games. They were called 'zines'. Nothing I can do? It's on you. you have to hold Budapest for this year. Then you might be able to claim victory. --Good Luck to us both. ;^) |
15 Mar 19 UTC | Spring, 1907: Hope that wasn't too snarky. Yes, you have played quite well and have me beat. I hope I was able to pique some interest on your part. I've never played a one-on-one game before. I came at it as a jugular game rather than a 'math-up'. Thanks, in advance, for the strategic insight and the game. |
15 Mar 19 UTC | Nope, you don't make mistakes. I concede. Continued good fortune to you. ja |
15 Mar 19 UTC | GameMaster: Germany voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat. |
15 Mar 19 UTC | I don't think I've seen anyone try to negotiate in a 1v1 before - I'll give you that.. Good luck in the future! |
