27 Apr 19 UTC | Spring, 1860: Good luck! |
03 May 19 UTC | Autumn, 1861: Well, I won't be playing this opening again. |
03 May 19 UTC | Autumn, 1861: There is a really good land rush for the south, but I think you gave up a little too much growth in this case. Pinning Ohio is super good for Confederacy, but you have to let it go one more year before it happens, imo. You also took a bad beat because I picked the map and didn't know how familiar you are with it. As a result, I picked the most conservative opening on both sides possible. The confederate land rush works better if Union takes a little bit more of a chance, for instance by just assuming that Richmond can't be stopped and DC in the fall aftr pushing to Cape May. |
03 May 19 UTC | Spring, 1862: Yeah, this variant is my least favorite out of all the 1v1s, including the Battle of Lepanto. |
03 May 19 UTC | That was quite nicely done in the west. |
03 May 19 UTC | GameMaster: Confederacy voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Concede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat. |
03 May 19 UTC | Good game! Although I did play OK in the west, my deficit in material was too much to overcome and you had already flanked me with your move to Miami. |
04 May 19 UTC | Thanks! Good game. You're still ahead in the other. We'll see if it ends 1-1. |
