03 Aug 19 UTC | What a great game! Got lucky with the start when Italy didn't bounce me in Trieste |
03 Aug 19 UTC | Italy your last move was UNBELIEVABLE !!! Really disappointing. We try to prevent the Austrian victory and what are you doing??? Congrats to Austria. It was an interesting game with an crazy Italian gamer. You really behave like your name. |
03 Aug 19 UTC | Eh, Italy's crazy move came in Spring 1898. His final move was upon realization that I had won, and since this is PPSC he might as well. And there was indeed nothing he could have done, anything he did wouldn't have prevented me from retaining Marseilles and taking Munich thus getting to 18, although it was a bit premature as I don't think every player would have known to bounce Western Mediterranean in the final move to cut its support I knew was going towards helping Turkey take Tunis (please indulge in me making this bit of self-praise :) |
03 Aug 19 UTC | Basically, Italy didn't anticipate you guys still had a chance to stop me with Tunis, and England didn't anticipate I could anticipate his move. |
03 Aug 19 UTC | Sorry, England. But it was lost cause (due to my many errors in this game). And as it was ppsc game, I thought at least I’ve score some more points. And Austria read me correct once again :( |
03 Aug 19 UTC | Italy, why did you make your opening move to Piedmont instead of Trieste? Once I got to Trieste I had no reason to let you live in Venice |
03 Aug 19 UTC | I took a risk that you would choose fighting Turkey or Russia and try take over balkans. And if you’d see that I go for France then we might had worked as allies. It was an experiment which went wrong, but I wanted to try something new :D |
03 Aug 19 UTC | @Italy: Yeah true the game was nearly won by Austria. But a player which is not as good as Austria i would have some hope. But your move in the end was just unfair and brazenly and thats the game ;) |
03 Aug 19 UTC | I technically survived and that's a pretty good result |
03 Aug 19 UTC | Fun game and congrats, Ingebot, well played. It was my first 1898 game, I tried but never really got going. Thanks for playing everyone. |
