10 Jun 19 UTC | Spring, 1841: Info: This is a choose your country game. |
18 Jun 19 UTC | Autumn, 1843: So.. I’m able to retreat to Austin Texas for some reason |
18 Jun 19 UTC | Autumn, 1843: Probably because of the river that connects to ocean, but the map didn’t say fhat |
18 Jun 19 UTC | Autumn, 1843: I've messaged the mods on this issue. |
18 Jun 19 UTC | Autumn, 1843: Yeah I’m able to move back into GLV as well. I think the maker of the map didn’t add to the map description that we can movement into Austin from ocean. But I can ONLY move back to the ocean from Austin, I can’t move anywhere else |
18 Jun 19 UTC | Autumn, 1843: Same, which is weird and probably a bug |
18 Jun 19 UTC | Autumn, 1843: Oli (Moderator): Small pause as we fix a bug. |
18 Jun 19 UTC | Spring, 1843: GameMaster: This game has been moved back to Spring, 1843 |
18 Jun 19 UTC | Autumn, 1843: Oli (Moderator): The error is fixed now. The wrong unit is disbanded as explained in our rules-page here: https://www.vdiplomacy.com/features.php Variants -> Some player took advantage of an bug, and now the game is screwed. |
19 Jun 19 UTC | Autumn, 1843: So... what did I miss now? |
19 Jun 19 UTC | Autumn, 1843: I had a magic boat that flew over land : D |
19 Jun 19 UTC | Autumn, 1843: But it was destroyed, reduced to atoms |
19 Jun 19 UTC | Autumn, 1843: ... that feels like a shit solution. Couldn't the mods have allowed you to retreat your fleet elsewhere? |
19 Jun 19 UTC | Autumn, 1843: Yeah probably :/ |
09 Jul 19 UTC | Well played Texas |
09 Jul 19 UTC | Actually I'm a bit confused by this game. Why did you suicide against Spain Mexico? |
09 Jul 19 UTC | Yeah.. that just let texas win... |
10 Jul 19 UTC | I had a solid agreement with Spain from the beginning which was looking very good and we were progressing well - although I had one more SC than Spain and this apparently spooked him so he back-stabbed me. Rather than talk to his ally about the imbalance of our forces and asking me to slow down so he could catch-up he went straight to the back-stab option. There was no way I could defend myself against both players so... rather than let the back-stabber who wrecked my game benefit, I just brought forward my inevitable defeat but ensured that Texas (who I felt bad about back-stabbing myself) won and Spain got nothing fom the game either. Spain you brought this on yourself and on me |
