03 Oct 19 UTC	Autumn, 401: Why didnt I take OST? It says in the rules that "While an ordinary move is counted with one plus supports". Doesnt that mean I should have gotten in from Hu3 to Ost?

03 Oct 19 UTC	Autumn, 401: Allright, let me say a few things. First of all, really well played, Alamanni. I got betrayed by both Franci and Alamanni, but I suspect Alamanni to be a very good player and behind all of it. In fact, I can see how Alamanni is setting up himself to solo. Let me explain. At the end of the year, what centers will be occupied? Well, Gothi will capture both Athens and Che (very well played, Gothi!) and Hunni will capture Byz. Those are three supply centers. If Alamanni plays this well, he will get three centers, and no other player will get one single supply center. Let me explain how that will work. He has probably promised Saxones and Franci a lot of stuff, but he can block them from getting builds. Saxones wants to take Ver, but Alamanni can bounce him by moving Vin to Ver (and if he suspects Saxones not trusting him and moving to Vin, he can simply hold). Also, if he moves Seq to Col or Reg, he is guaranteed to take it, and he likely hopes that in the center he does not move to, players will bounce. Then it will be three centers for Alamanni and three centers for all the other players combined. In addition, Alamanni would have the best strategic location on the board, since Gothi will not be in a position to grab many neutrals fast, but Alamanni would. Alamanni would then be able to take on all the other players (who would just be Gothi and Hunni) and be able to solo the game. If you are asking yourself right now: 'Come on, why would Alamanni do that?' you are not asking the right question. The better question to ask yourself would be: 'Why WOULDN'T Alamanni do that?' The answer to that question is: He has no reason to. His solo is within arms reach already and he has no reason whatsoever to let this golden opportunity for himself go. So what will I do? I will attack Hai from Sil and am asking support from Hunni, that's for sure. Any messager from any player is welcome to discuss things with me. What I will do with my other units is completely dependent on what they write to me. If we work together now, we can prevent Alamanni from getting a solo. However, if Franci or Saxones is still trusting Alamanni and does not want to work against him, then Alamanni would likely win, and the player causing his win would deserve to lose.

05 Oct 19 UTC	Autumn, 401: Did Alamanni just betray France? gasp Who would have POSSIBLY seen THAT coming? :O I am not sure Saxones deserves this, though. I believe he misordered. He was supporting Hunni to Hai instead of me. It is obvious that Alamanni has the solo in the bag and has played really well, but it looks like this game got decided by a misorder in the end. If Saxoni would've supported me to Hai, we would have had a game on our hands - and I would try my very best to avenge the dead Saxones.
