05 Apr 20 UTC Good game, everyone.
05 Apr 20 UTC Yes well played guys, I was aware GB must have been near a solo so was trying to scramble units into place to defend my line and hopefully push them back before major reinforcements arrived (though they appear to have been almost there anyway).

I shall admit, I was in 2 minds as to whether I just destroy Italy and hope I can hold GB myself or prop them up to get a stalemate. Glad I didn't have to decide in the end.

Shame about all the CDs from Austria and Germany, that probably helped me significantly really.

Thank you all for playing, I had fun there.
05 Apr 20 UTC I also am very glad you didn't have to decide!

Great game, this was certainly a weird one for me!
05 Apr 20 UTC Yes it was, we both spent a fair amount of time without some of our home centres, haha. At least you managed to finish with all of yours!
05 Apr 20 UTC When you shored up Warsaw and Italy looked certain to hold Tunis, I decided the stalemate line had been reached. I could have pressed to see if Russia and Italy fought and I could slip into one center or the other, but it didn't seem likely.

I can't believe France had all of Italy but Naples at one point! And that Russia was struggling but came all the way back, too.
