24 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1065: hello hello |
24 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1065: Georgy, meet my girlfriend Nelly Nelly, meet my goodfriend Georgy |
24 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1065: Georgy, no pressure, this game is a tryout for you, so take your time, try things. You can chat with the two of us together here, or open a new chat and talk to someone in particular if you want to make alliances and stuff |
24 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1065: you can play using either the interface, or (as I prefer) with the interactive map mode. Tell me if anything is unclear |
24 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1065: when you've made your choices, click 'ready'. Once everybody has done so, the game goes on, and you'll see whether your moves have succeed and what moves close enemy armies have made. 1 army vs 1 army cancel each other, if they both want to move to the same spot. |
24 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1065: to be stronger, you need to have 1 army moving to X, plus 1 army that *could* have also tried moving to X but instead 'supports' the first army into moving there. In that case, the army that is actually moving is 'stronger' than an enemy that is already there (which would then have to retreat) or that wanted to move to the same spot (and the move of which is then merely cancelled/blocked). |
25 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1065: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1065: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1065: Heyhey! |
26 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1065: Sorry for being so slow, I somehow ended up quite busy, despite the current situation |
27 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1066: no worries :) do you understand everything in the game? |
27 Apr 20 UTC | Autumn, 1066: yeah, I think so. just screwed up a little in the beginning, because I forgot that there can be only one unit in each field haha |
27 Apr 20 UTC | Autumn, 1066: will do better next game! |
28 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1067: this is why i called this game ''une partie pour du beurre'', i.e. a tryout, a game that doesn't count ;) Nelly and I are focusing on battling each other for now, the threat from the vikings seems far-fetched and abstract when the french and the british relentlessly invade each other |
28 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1067: Ah, I see! (my French is very rusty hehe) |
28 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1067: also don't underestimate the norsemen |
29 Apr 20 UTC | Spring, 1067: don't battle me Sim ;) go to Norway :D |
29 Apr 20 UTC | Autumn, 1067: Don't worry, Norway will soon come to you :) |
30 Apr 20 UTC | Autumn, 1068: arg I see Norwayyy |
30 Apr 20 UTC | Autumn, 1068: shit I thought I could buy more time |
