17 May 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Welcome to diplomacy! The greatest game the world has known.

This is the public forum for game.

The first person to control 28 supply centers wins the game (we all start with 4 or 5, the territories with the targets on them)
Often games will end in draws with 4 or more countries hanging on and sharing power.

If you click on the open new chat icon you will be able to send private messages to other countries.

18 May 20 UTC Spring, 1901: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
18 May 20 UTC Spring, 1901: hey everybody, learning curves w/ the website apologies for delay. think i have everything sorted now.
18 May 20 UTC Spring, 1901: just note that the website might require you to re-input any orders you'd saved yesterday before the turn got reset.
18 May 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Mother Russia forgives you, Britain.
19 May 20 UTC Spring, 1901: C'est bon Britain. We ze French were too busy weeth our wine ahnd cheese to nahtice.
20 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Still figuring this out
20 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Ciao cari amici. We Italians come in pizza....I mean peace-a!
20 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
20 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Great nations of the world, please remember that turns are due every day. If you miss a turn you will trigger a delay and the turn will reset. After your second delay, very bad things will happen if you miss a turn. We don’t want to figure out what they are...
After 5 consecutive turns of being in time, you will get back a delay.

If anyone has any rules questions please don’t hesitate to reach out. The PRC is known for giving unbiased advice for the good of the world in times of great uncertainty.
21 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Anyone know how to get a reminder when moves are due?
21 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: I recommend a live in nerd boyfriend.
21 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: They are due every 24 hours. So a daily phone reminder will do the trick. Pretty soon you’ll be dreaming about conveying troops across the Arabian Sea
23 May 20 UTC Spring, 1902: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
24 May 20 UTC Spring, 1902: Hello great nations -
24 May 20 UTC Spring, 1902: Does anyone have a very clear understanding of the "bouncing" rules that they'd be willing to share?
24 May 20 UTC Spring, 1902: Specifically --
1. Can two of your own forces (say, two fleets) enter the same sea without bouncing?
2. Can two different fleets enter the same sea without bouncing?
24 May 20 UTC Spring, 1902: In general, I have some confusion on this aspect of the game, and I couldn't find a detailed explanation anywhere. Thanks to anyone willing to explain!
24 May 20 UTC Spring, 1902: I can clear it up. Only one troop can be in a territory at once. This applies when two different countries try and move a troop into the same territory and if you try and move two of your troops into the same territory. If two troops both try and move into the same territory they 'bounce' or move back to where they came. This is what happened to you in the North sea.
If you try to move into a territory but someone else moves in with support, the army moving in with support gets the new territory and the other troop bounces...this is what happened last turn in Rumania. Russia bounced, and Austria took Rumania.
Finally if you move into a territory currently occupied by someone else with support, and that other army is holding without support, you will move into that territory and their army will retreat...this is what happened to Italy in Milan - they have to retreat due to Austria moving in with support from Switzerland. When you retreat you get to choose where your troop will go that isn't occupied or you can disband that troop - this is advantageous if you want to build a new troop in the fall in a different location.

hope that clears it up!
24 May 20 UTC Spring, 1902: TLDR
1. No
2. No

Only 1 troop per territory
