03 Dec 20 UTC Gg.
I really apprecciate your input against the OP Denmark (as the title obviously says) Habsburg. I think you did great teamwise. I'm glad you let him grab all the SCs and continue on attacking me, the only person could build fleet against him (since France and Spain were a mess). I tried to give you signals by support holding you every year I could from the absolute beginning, but your three units always stayed there, never moved away. I'm sorry for saltines, but this really frustrated me, seeing Denmark growing only bigger and bigger with noone to stop him, while you only focus on growing yourself a little bit and blocking me from doing anything at all.

I'm sorry to Spain, I would never grab North Africa, which I think quite made the decision whether you live in the end game or not, unless I needed to make signals for the Habsburg that I have no intentions attacking him.

Thanks Russia for cooperation in the end, I hoped you would have only taken Azerbaijan and didn't move further, i left it open intentionally (possibly a mistake froom my side, I didn't know what to do, though, having Habsburg pressuring me all the time).

Good job Denmark! I hope this map will get balanced soon (I reached out to mods as well). Denmark's too good, Poland's terrible. I pitty you Poland, sorry to you too.
03 Dec 20 UTC Yep, Spain was harassing me from the get go
03 Dec 20 UTC Ok, what does OP mean?
03 Dec 20 UTC Overpowered
03 Dec 20 UTC Gg Denmark. Like the Ottomans said, I was frustrated with a few of the players here. The title of the game literally says Denmark is OP, and Sweden decided to not attack him. Sweden even had opportunities to grap free centers from him when he started growing large, yet he decided to attack me and keep attacking me even after Denmark finally attacked him from behind. And Habsburgs, you really need to stop attacking the Ottomans. I have no clue why you just let Denmark keep growing in size.
03 Dec 20 UTC Yeah sorry for the initial attack Ottomans. You centers kind of looked too open down there, which is why I made a push for them. Then Sweden started giving his centers to Denmark in the north so I had to pull back. Glad we were able to cooperate i. The end.
03 Dec 20 UTC So now I know what "OP" means :) This was new to me, I suspect some other players did not know either.
Being right in the middle of the map I did not feel I could just attack Denmark and lose all my SCs. The Ottomans were attacking my rear, it didn't make sense to leave the back door open.

03 Dec 20 UTC you literally attacked everyone around you except for denmark
03 Dec 20 UTC Only because they attacked me first...
03 Dec 20 UTC did I?
03 Dec 20 UTC France bounced into Bavaria in autumn 1602. So that might be the reason of the conflict.
Habsburg (davec), it's all good. I am definitely not a pro myslef. Just for you to know, this is a WTA (winner takes all) game, so if someone wins, they take all the points for themselves. Your play would actually make a lot of sense in PPSC (points per supply center) game, where the bet points are split among all the players based on how many SCs they posses after someone wins.
It is usually considered better to stop the player getting close to solo in WTA game rather than attacking the weaker players, if you are not close to solo yourself. Because if you don't, you lose all. Even though, it is not possible to communicate in Gunboat games by words, you can still give hints and try to establish some alliance or cooperation by your moves. For example I tried to support hold your Wes. Hungary army many times (you can only see it in the big map, because you were attacking me, the supports were cut) so that means I am on your side. If you actually leave your back open to me in the middle of the game, it would be foolish to attack you from me, because Denmark was growing solid and close to solo.

Nothing bad, everyone learns, just a tip how to improve.
03 Dec 20 UTC Well gg. Funny enough I made the game and gave the title "Denmark is OP" after taking a glance at the stats and seeing Denmark win 13 solo victories out of 65 games. When I got Denmark I was pretty damn worried that Sweden + England + Habsburgs would attack me out of the title name.

I think Habsburg Empire just didn't realize that this was a WTA game and not a PPSC game, since what they did would be perfectly fine in a PPSC game but it doesn't make sense in a WTA game. With WTA you need to make sure that, no matter what, other people can't get a solo victory, and that securing a position in the draw is so much more important than # of SCs. If you threw about 3/4 of your army up north to fight me you probably still would've been in the draw because the other powers would need to support hold your units, and I would've likely had to accept a draw after some time.

I understand why this game might have felt underwhelming for some players but at least it was a learning opportunity for others. GG.
03 Dec 20 UTC well said
03 Dec 20 UTC Yeah I didn’t know what OP meant, nor did I look at the stats.

I just thought Denmark and I would stay allied. After they attacked, I didn’t fight back because I felt it would have expedited my demise since Russia had no reason to stop.
03 Dec 20 UTC If you guys did not know what OP meant, google is right there
