18 Jan 21 UTC You had me with that convoy Germany. Congrats.
Good game to all
18 Jan 21 UTC Funny game!
Great alliance between us Russia until I made a fault in 1915 to attack Trieste instead of Venice. I think you knew that this was not an one army spring attack but you exploit it and thats fine.

Its really difficult to conquer England at this map if France is friendly to GB. Maybe I should attack France earlier. That would be better for me and Russia.

Thanks to England and France for forgiving me and helping me at the end.
18 Jan 21 UTC I had a doubt about that move. I mean Italy was stalemating me and maybe you started to fear that I'll invade you and took the initiative.
But then when I saw you withdrew I realized it was a mistake and that my offensive was doomed to meet the opposition of all of you.
Anyway, must say I would not have survived if it wasn't for your intervention against England after my catastrophic first moves.
18 Jan 21 UTC GG all - I thought I had the run on Russia at one point but Germany went southwards and I hadn't built enough armies (remarkable comeback from Russia losing 3/4 home SCs too!). Great tactics used and several alliances of necessity springing up. A nervy finish - thanks all.
18 Jan 21 UTC GG. Honestly surprised with how long it took for Russia to start against Germany. I wasn't sure how to stay safe against MAO, which is why I initially took it from France (1904) and I wanted to focus on Germany at that time, but Italy had few armies and Russia was content to leave Warsaw in German hands.

It became obvious that Russia was the only potential solo on the board for a while (1912) but Germany still wanted to throw hands. WP by Russia in mounting that comeback. I never felt secure with my Russian holdings, but figured I'd get the builds early and try to crack Germany.
