20 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1901: Good luck! |
20 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1901: New variant for me. Trying to do them all |
20 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Cool, I was a little intimated by your rating, but hopefully your lack of experience on this map helps even things out. ;) |
20 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1902: our openings are identical as of now |
20 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Hmm. You are outplaying me |
20 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1904: It is the right thing with this map to send fleets early up the channel and leave the two furthest island SCs for later like you have |
20 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Have you done this map before? |
20 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1904: I have, I personally try to prioritize the middle, as there are the most centers there, leaving me to occasionally get beaten on the outskirts |
20 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Yeah the double loss in the idle was painful there. But the fleet down the creek was good too. I’ve done the Cold War map - 2 player - quite a lot. Like that one. But this one is pure tactics because of the symmetry |
20 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Yes, cold war is very volatile, this one feels more steady. I enjoy it more than cold war |
21 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1905: Ouch |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Do you want to play this to the end or I can just resign. You have definitely won. |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Up to you, I need 4 more centers to win |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Yeah but you get 2 right now let’s play a couple more moves then.... |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Nah, let’s stop there. Easy win from here. Very well played, I was never even close |
22 Dec 20 UTC | GameMaster: Red voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Concede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat. |
22 Dec 20 UTC | Well played I was seriously intimated by your score at the start, but then things started going my way. One thing that is surprising, is this map is not balanced. Red has a score of like 3.5 and green has 3 |
22 Dec 20 UTC | 7.1 to 7.5 in favor of red |
22 Dec 20 UTC | I find that really funny |
22 Dec 20 UTC | I definitely didn’t “see” a few traps and I think familiarity with the map helps a lot. But either way you completely out played me. I may have said at the beginning I am trying to create a game and sample every single variant. So this ticked one off. Probably prefer Cold War actually felt that had more unpredictability, swings of power. This felt like your ground me slowly to dust! |
