13 May 21 UTC This game confirms my feeling that some powers are much easier to play than others, with Athens and Persia being really difficult in a gunboat game. Rhodes, if you guess correctly which home centres to bid for, is so much easier to play - highest priority is to stop Persia building Fleets!

I played this map for the first and last time. I did not know the rules and started with not enough units. WP of the others!
13 May 21 UTC Yep. Persia with one ally would have been great. Taking my islands quickly hamstrung me. I am not sure if I like this game.
