12 Aug 21 UTC Autumn, 2001: GameMaster: Ukraine voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
12 Sep 21 UTC GG! nice game Egypt and France. It's a really interesting equilibrium between me and France.
12 Sep 21 UTC GG guys
12 Sep 21 UTC Was this a stalemate? I didn't think France could be Paris, and wrap up the whole line from there.

Gg to the winners. Some real high ranked people in this one. I guess just England's play and Russias play confused me on this one - and really ended up killing me in the end. I'd just want to hear from Russia why they kept attacking me even when it was quite obvious it would never benefit them
12 Sep 21 UTC Not sure how my play confused you. I was fighting France from almost the start. I didn't have enough units to attack Germany at the same time. Once Germany attacked me fully, it was game over for me.
12 Sep 21 UTC GG to the winners though.
12 Sep 21 UTC You are right about Russia though. Spring of 1999 he could have taken Bielorussia back, but instead kept attacking you with no results. That one build could have helped him push back Ukraine.
12 Sep 21 UTC Well that was precisely it. Why attack France when Germany has three fleets on North Sea? That's a death sentence. I mean Germany had 5 fleet chilling with nowhere else to go and you kept attacking France...who was building fleets in the Med and could France in the Med.
12 Sep 21 UTC *could advance in the Med....although France in the Med also fits lol
12 Sep 21 UTC When Germany had his 5 fleets, France had 3, with one in the English Channel. There was no way I could just ignore France and focus on Germany. He was still attacking me and showed no signs of leaving me alone to focusing on Germany. Germany even moved 3 of those fleets into the Baltic, so he was even less of a threat to me.
12 Sep 21 UTC You could have helped yourself more against Germany than you did. In Build phase of 1994, Germany built an army in Berlin. It was very obvious it would move to Pru or Sil against you. Instead of moving Warsaw to block one of these moves, you moved it to Krakow?? Not only did all those moves bounce, but there wasn't even a foreign unit boarding Krakow so there was no need to cover it yet.
12 Sep 21 UTC I wanted to be able to support hold Czechia and defend against the telegraphed Ukraine move to Podolia. And I recovered well from that German incursion, so it wasn't much an issue.

Not arguing over moves here too much. But considering two neighbors of mine attacked me non-stop, I think I did as best I could. You had the luxury of choosing a target, and chose the one that was not threatening you and had the least number if SCs exposed for you to take. That's my only qualm. But minor in comparison to my issue with Russia.
12 Sep 21 UTC I think it's really hard for Poland to survive between Russia and Germany. But I can't understand why Ukraine didn't attack any country in a such advantage.
12 Sep 21 UTC well that was a "famous first moves gone bad" game for me ...
GG to the drawing parties, all done right on their side!
