The war is still being waged with conventional weapons, and even if cities and infrastructure are destroyed in the end, there is still a chance of being able to rebuild everything in peace. Spring, 1962: Well Mr. President, let me say this.
This war, while costly already, has not escalated beyond repair. Other than the invasions of Turkey and Leningrad, our homelands have not suffered much of the fighting that is being done on the lands and seas. There is still time for you to peacefully surrender to the glorious might of Mother Russia before our divisions roll through your defenses in Germany, and smash your naval blockades.
