30 Dec 21 UTC Bidding: ok - who hasn't submitted bets, lol.
30 Dec 21 UTC Spring, 1550 BC.: Let it be known to the world that Athens is a liar and a fiend! Tread carefully if you think they are willing to actually work with you.
30 Dec 21 UTC Spring, 1550 BC.: For the map... the strategy I didn't actually work with Sparta on was as follows:

Sparta wanted he and I to double-bet on each spot that Macedon would take... to effectively shut them out of the bidding altogether and leave them totally at our mercy.

I was supposed to double up on Larissa and Therma - which would have left Macedon with Pella and Thassos (sparta guessed wrong about apollonia).

Athens felt this was an unsportsmanlike start to the game... so instead we decided to take the traditional spartan homeland instead and let Macedon have a shot.

30 Dec 21 UTC Spring, 1550 BC.: whoops, sorry for the double-post.
31 Dec 21 UTC Spring, 1550 BC.: Na
31 Dec 21 UTC Spring, 1550 BC.: Nw*
31 Dec 21 UTC Spring, 1550 BC.: Macedonia is most certainly gratful for the Athenian common courtesy
01 Jan 22 UTC Autumn, 1550 BC.: Hmm, seems like no one is a fan of peace lol
03 Jan 22 UTC Autumn, 1550 BC.: What is this 2-way hold on both sides of Persia? And why wasn't I invited?
04 Jan 22 UTC Autumn, 1550 BC.: cuz Byzantium was being mean to both of their neighbors >:o
04 Jan 22 UTC Autumn, 1550 BC.: I was? ):
04 Jan 22 UTC Autumn, 1550 BC.: yes :c
05 Jan 22 UTC Spring, 1549 BC.: hmm... imperius for sure.
05 Jan 22 UTC Autumn, 1549 BC.: If Macedonia and Rhodes continue to gang up on me without fighting Persia, Persia will win.
05 Jan 22 UTC Autumn, 1549 BC.: Moreover, if it's clear I'm losing I'm preferring Persia to have my SCs so that you can see the folly of your actions.
05 Jan 22 UTC Autumn, 1549 BC.: This is assuming you're not alting, I have no idea what sort of protections this site offers against that in anon games.
10 Jan 22 UTC Autumn, 1548 BC.: relatively certain nobody is alting, based on the convos I've had with these guys.
10 Jan 22 UTC Autumn, 1548 BC.: I think - honest truth - Byzantium came off as a bit heavy-handed in conversations... stuff like "I am taking this, don't go there if you don't want to bounce" instead of "hey I'd like to take this, can we work it out so we don't bounce there?" You can catch more flies with honey and all that.
10 Jan 22 UTC Autumn, 1548 BC.: yes
