09 Jan 12 UTC | Autumn, 1903: The teacher dont likes me :(( |
09 Jan 12 UTC | Autumn, 1903: A very direct question! :D Personally, I hate statements like German/Italian/French/American/whateveryouwant are better/worse/good in/bad in/etc... because even if it can be true, it's true only as an average, but there is not an average man. Also almost always in these reasoning one's people is better and all the other are worse. This appears to me very very suspect and I try to judge someone regardless of where he comes from. Well, I said try because it's difficult to avoid prejudices. This is for me. For other Italians, as I said before I'm suspicious of general assertions, but I can say: something are like me, others admire (wether rightly or wrongly I don't know) German for the economic power and organisation, finally states Italian are still better, others, and luckily they are very very few and escluded by civil society, but they are strenghtening in this time of multicultural immigration and economic crisis, admires the past history of German (and also Italy of that time). But in general, the average man will say: "They are good, but we are better" |
09 Jan 12 UTC | Autumn, 1903: OK :D |
09 Jan 12 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Also I'd like to know German point of view. |
09 Jan 12 UTC | Spring, 1904: The german picture of Italy had been very damaged of berlusconi. VERY damaged. The boulevard press often sees italy in one club with the med states (spain, greece, portugal) but the the most newspapers say that italy has still a good-working economy so it shouldnt be a problem to overcome the high debts. And of course the romantic picture of an idyll in the toskana with some wine and a shining sun :D |
09 Jan 12 UTC | Spring, 1904: Ah, and that the south is quite corrupt and that the mafia has much influence there -.- |
