17 Apr 22 UTC	Spring, 1901: (erikip107): oh Hi Mikey! yeah... this was intended to be a tutorial game for 2 new players and one returning player (one new player hasn't joined yet...), and I asked some of my school's alums to join (one of which, BBQSauce123321, was my teacher/person who introduced me to this game!). We needed one more player so I asked Chuttbugger, who is probably the closest person to a true rival I have on this site. I'll make another friendly game if you'd like! But we need the spot open for the last newbie to join. I messed up on game creation and meant to have a passcode for this game.

18 Apr 22 UTC	Spring, 1901: (erikip107): We're set! This will start at the scheduled time, but I won't be able to give the newbies a rundown of rules and such until a few hours later, just an FYI. Some introductions are in order! -As previously stated, Chuttbugger is the closest person I have to a rival on this site. We've been in several games together, mostly on ER, but also on an ongoing DSA game where neither of us has stabbed each other yet. Sometimes we make it to the endgame together, sometimes he stabs me... -BBQSauce123321 is an alum from my university, fellow trumpet player in band, one year older than me. He introduced this game to me my freshman year, and guided me through some early friendly games, and obviously I took off and ran with it lol. I've never directly bested him a game, but I think there was one ER game in my early days where we were far away, and he got killed off early and I didn't! -kevdog8 is another alum from my university, a sax player if I remember correctly. I'm not actually sure how much older he is than I am, and I think I've met him in person exactly once, but I don't remember the context...but we've been in a few games together on this site, mostly without each other knowing. -erikip107 is me (duh). Trumpet player, senior at my university. Open to questions? -Oppunome1 is another fellow trumpet player in the same year as me. He's played briefly before but forgets most of the rules (I'll be re-teaching him this game as well). As of recent, I've been liking to say that we're each other's foil characters for fun :D. We call him "Cups" -ButteredToast is a freshman trumpet player. The running joke is that she's going to commit a war crime some day, or maybe she has already? Probably safe to assume vengeance will come your way if you stab her. -owlbertails is another freshman, you guessed it, trumpet player. Maybe he'll prove differently in an online setting, but he's kind of a bad liar when we're playing coup lol And that's our cast!

I may be the only one not associated with y’all’s university, but I am a fellow band geek - tuba to be precise, though several years out of practice. The feeling of rivalry is mutual with erik :P I mentioned this to him recently, but I consider him to be the most skilled member of this site with whom I’ve played. He’s got incredible long-term vision and his betrayals are always exceptionally well-planned and executed. Also shoutout to kevdog8, who may not remember me but we once made a valiant and successful stand against an Ireland solo attempt on the 20-player modern Europe map - I took over an abandoned Portugal near the end of the game to help secure Georgia (kevdog8) and Czechia’s stalemate line. They were kind enough not to exclude me from the draw even though I ended up quite small by comparison. Looking forward to helping introduce some newcomers to the game!
