04 Jul 23 UTC | Spring, 1065: I wonder if there is a "build anywhere" rule in this variant? Or I will never have a fleet? |
04 Jul 23 UTC | tobi1 (Moderator): Hi everyone, this variant was only available in game creation due to a misconfiguration. It is still in development and may change fundamentally. I doubt that an unobserved test game at this stage will be a good idea as things may break or changes will have unintended side effects. With the placeholder unit icons that do not distinct between armies and fleets it may hardly be playable anyway. I will thus draw this game. Sorry for messing this up a bit. |
04 Jul 23 UTC | No sorry, thanks for creating new variants, so we can have fun playing them :-) |
04 Jul 23 UTC | Yes, thank you! Judging by how quickly these two games filled up it looks like this variant will be popular in the future. |
04 Jul 23 UTC | Yes. I like the map and I joined both games. |
05 Jul 23 UTC | Yes, this map looks fun. I look forward to its release whenever that is! |
05 Jul 23 UTC | Just some thoughts: Almoravids sits in the corner but has 4 centers. It may not be balanced enough. And it would be quite strange if Aragon and Toledo can't build fleets in the whole game. |
05 Jul 23 UTC | I don’t think that I’m actually over powered, while I do have 4 sc, I will struggle to get off Africa with my one costal supply center |
