30 Oct 23 UTC | Autumn, 1901: @France since Germany is the strongest player right now, I hope we can avoid conflict in Italy. I'd let you have Rome if you keep Piedmont empty. |
30 Oct 23 UTC | Autumn, 1901: @Austria I'm not looking for a fight. I hope my actions thus far have shown that. You also seem to be in quite a good position to launch an offensive against France, so I do believe it'd be beneficial to us both if we don't have to fight each other. Plus, my "advantage" is one single SC, which this early game doesn't mean much at all anyways. |
30 Oct 23 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Yes, you also have the disadvantage of being the middle power. I recently played this variant in real life on a board and Germany had to fight a war on two fronts and lost in the end. Most of the times, a three player game always has the two weaker players fighting the strongest. For now, as nobody is clearly stronger than anybody else, I would be okay with not attacking either of you and instead collecting centers in the back. |
30 Oct 23 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Easy for you to say. You have loads of centers in the back. I have very few |
30 Oct 23 UTC | Spring, 1902: Same here. An Austrian - French alliance is rare, but Anschluss is one of the most classic alliances there is, for good reason. |
30 Oct 23 UTC | Spring, 1902: Not sure about French sentiments at the moment, but for now I'll do the same with collecting centers. @Austria I hope you wouldn't mind if I have Warsaw? |
01 Nov 23 UTC | Autumn, 1903: So you have chosen war Germany? Then war you shall have! |
02 Nov 23 UTC | Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: France voted for a Extend. If 2/3 of the active players vote Extend the the current phase will be extend by 4 days. Please consider backing this. If the majority is not reached by "Autumn, 1904" the votes will be cleared. |
02 Nov 23 UTC | Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: Per 2/3 majority vote the gamephase got extended by 4 days. (Voters: Austria / France) |
06 Nov 23 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Thanks for the extend. I'm back now |
06 Nov 23 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Right, so everyone is fighting everyone right now and it seems a bit messy. I'm willing to extend an alliance offer to any one of you with a promise to cease hostilities if you do the same. |
06 Nov 23 UTC | Spring, 1904: Ganging up on one person sounds a bit lame to me. A free for all would be more fun, even if that does give Austria the advantage |
06 Nov 23 UTC | Spring, 1904: Although the Germany France border does look like a stalemate |
11 Nov 23 UTC | Autumn, 1906: This is very quickly turning into a 2v1 |
11 Nov 23 UTC | Autumn, 1906: St P could be yours Germany if you trusted me enough to take your fleet East from Cly |
11 Nov 23 UTC | Autumn, 1906: Austria will solo. I suppose it's time we put our differences aside for the time being - I have no problems with you taking Edinburgh after St P is an option for me. |
11 Nov 23 UTC | Autumn, 1906: Sounds good to me |
11 Nov 23 UTC | Autumn, 1906: Did you mean to move to Ska and give up Norway? |
12 Nov 23 UTC | Autumn, 1906: Uhm- No, I did not... Interesting vdiplomacy glitch(?) there... |
12 Nov 23 UTC | Autumn, 1906: At least you have a surplus of armies you can afford to destroy |
