Spring, 1994: Um...why did the mapmaker not paint Brittany the French blue? Did I miss something in history class, since I don't think Brittany was independent in 1994? |

Autumn, 1994: Seriously? |

Autumn, 1994: never mind those messages, I was just playing around trying to figure out what all those buttons meant (I'm new to the game.) |

Autumn, 1994: Oh, by the way, under no circumstances trust turkey he is a dirty lying backstabber, who will betray you when the opportunity arrives. It won't be long before I myself will perish, but before that I'll make sure to damage this bastard as much as possible :) |

Autumn, 1996: The point system for these online diplomacy games rewards quitting before the loss goes on your record. There is a reliability hit, but 'serious' players seem to value their ranking more than their reliability. |

Autumn, 1996: lame |

Autumn, 1996: and presumably not enough people set a reliability threshold to join then huh |

Autumn, 1996: You can set there to be one but most people don't bother. |

Spring, 1997: @all: (except Russia, who literally lied for absolutely no reason): if Russia takes me out they almost certainly solo. Therefore, I believe we must put together a coalition against the enemy of the East and set aside our differences. Form a Grand Alliance against the scourge of Eastern Europe (in game) and the terror of the north. If none shall stand with me, then I shall stand alone. But I hope others may be able to prevent such a solo victory. |

Spring, 1997: Ill openly admit that was a slimy stab, even for me, but in my defense, you're the only player I have lied to. As for a solo, its 33 I believe, so if I dont lose any this year I still wont even be halfway there. You on the other hand will assumedly lose only 1 unit, I really think you're overestimating both my power and your lack of it. |
13 Dec 23 UTC |
Spring, 1997: Hell it looks like you may very well be gaining units, I wouldnt worry too much just yet. |

Spring, 1997: hmm, Spanish NMR? |
