15 Jul 24 UTC GG. It's easy to see why England sucks in this variant so much.
15 Jul 24 UTC Yep. I think there's some luck involved as well, and I certainly had that, but the early defensive position is obviously useful too. I think previous Italy was way too slow/passive in reacting to my solo threat, and could probably have stabbed (if would even have been a stab, not like we had a real alliance going) for a win attempt themselves.
15 Jul 24 UTC Yeah, I was really counting on Italian intervention. They were playing for a draw the whole game and I think that's where you got lucky.
15 Jul 24 UTC However, it was brilliant to occupy Germany's home scs to prevent them from building, so it certainly wasn't all luck.
15 Jul 24 UTC Yeah, that was a nice touch. Germany was effectively playing with 3 units less these last turns. I don't think I played it perfectly at all, but it always felt like it should be hard for them to defend especially with this variant in gunboat when it's basically impossible for them to coordinate well.
15 Jul 24 UTC Yeah, I've been watching this game, and once you hit 14-15 scs I figured it was only a matter of time. Well played.
15 Jul 24 UTC gg,it's my first time play this map. not understand it totally. well play Turkey
