Spring, 1908: I think it was because you chose not to rush to 18. You could had won in 1905 if you had rushed instead of focusing on holding the position. I have always had the better position for the long run, the problem was that I made a couple of early mistakes that allowed you through to the north with your fleets. If you had gone for SCs when you had 14, 15 units without focusing on holding my advance you would had surely won. I would had needed to guess every single move of yours to stop you from winning which is almost impossible. However when you decided to continue to grow slowly you allowed me to reorganize myself and get the last builds I needed.
