04 Jul 12 UTC Spring, 1902: How am I doing?
04 Jul 12 UTC Spring, 1902: hehe you're getting the hang of it.. Just remember if you move two units to the same territory, they will bounce and no one takes it. Seems like Rumania and Constantiople were both moving in. I should have probably warned you: if a country has two coasts, it can still only be occupied by one unit.
05 Jul 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: I figured that out. It's weird that I can't move into a territory in the same turn that I move a unit out of that territory, though.
05 Jul 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Yikes. That one hurt.
05 Jul 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Yikes. That one hurt.
05 Jul 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: You can move into a territory if another unit is moving out. Like in the Black Sea - you moved out to Con and in from Rumania. The only reason this wouldnt work is if you bounce, or if the unit moving gets stopped.
05 Jul 12 UTC Spring, 1903: And yeah, that was a rough turn for you.
05 Jul 12 UTC Spring, 1903: Did I not get new units because I had to retreat?
05 Jul 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: During the build phase, you can match your number of units to the number of SCs (the dots) you have. If you have less SCs than units, you are forced to destroy units. If you have more, than you can build.

The game progresses like this:

Spring (then retreats if needed) --> Autumn (then retreats if needed) --> Build/Destroy

Right now we're in the autumn phase. At the end of this turn (including the retreat portion) you will have the chance to either build or destroy.
05 Jul 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: So after your retreat, you will have 9 SCs and 9 units. This means that during the build phase that is coming up, you will not be able to build, but you will not have to destroy anything.
05 Jul 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: the game will get easier when its not just one on one .. normally you would have allies helping you out
05 Jul 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Got it. Thanks.
05 Jul 12 UTC Spring, 1904: I'm going to back off so that we can get a few more turns in.
05 Jul 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: If you try a convoy, you need to use a fleet to do the convoy. So you would enter both "Greece move to Naples" and "Ionian sea Convoy Greece to Naples"
05 Jul 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: I thought I did that. Not sure what happened.
05 Jul 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Not sure what happening with my convoys. I tried to convoy from Greece to Spain. Why didn't it work?
05 Jul 12 UTC Spring, 1905: You need a fleet occupying each of the water territories between where your tank is and where you want it to be.

To convoy for example from Greece to Con, you would need a fleet in the Aegean. To convoy from Greece to Spain, you would need fleets in each of Ionian, Tyrennian, and Western Med. All three would have to be ordered to "Convoy from Greece to Spain".

Also, you can not convoy over land - only water.
05 Jul 12 UTC Spring, 1905: If you have time, check out the "Help" section at the top of the page. They do a better job explaining this stuff than I can.
05 Jul 12 UTC Spring, 1905: Oh, I see now. Got it. Thanks.
06 Jul 12 UTC I think you may win this one.
