08 Aug 12 UTC | Spring, 1901: I just picked a 1 on 1 why is France taking so long to move in the other game |
08 Aug 12 UTC | Autumn, 1901: he's on his honeymoon, so he's waiting the full two days for each move. Germany i don't think is playing anymore. |
08 Aug 12 UTC | Autumn, 1901: We could have paused for his honeymoon. |
08 Aug 12 UTC | Spring, 1902: i suggested it via text, but he then put in moves...so i don't think he wanted to...i think he's just slowing it down until he gets back this weekend |

10 Aug 12 UTC | Spring, 1904: aah, 1 on 1 makes you put in so many orders!! haha |
10 Aug 12 UTC | Spring, 1904: i'm just going to say it, this map is a bit inherently unfair -- it takes me two turns at least to get my fleets to the middle of the map from St. Petersburg and Turkey-area -- such a pain in the ass. |
10 Aug 12 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Each side seems to have advantages and disadvantages. |
11 Aug 12 UTC | Congrats Mike, I'm conceding. Good game, well played on this map. I'm still disappointed at the set up for my country, but it's a good lesson going forward for me to be aware of how fast fleets can get to the center of the map. |
11 Aug 12 UTC | Well played as well. Sometimes it is better to move into a position than take a city center. That is why it seemed like my fleets moved a little faster. I left England and tunis and went for combating you directly |
11 Aug 12 UTC | Yea, just frustrating that it took 2+ moves to get my fleets to market, so to speak. I'd be down to play another, and/or add in Seth as well |
