15 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Risky Squid, I love it!!
15 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Are you registered on the webDip site as well? It's only Classic, Ancient Med, and World IX (or whatever it's called - 17 players). I love all the variants here, but Classic still has a spot in my heart, and I'm fast becoming an Ancient Med fan.
15 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Thought you might appreciate the name :D
I haven't registered with the other site yet. Should do that.
Oh man Pretty Vacant is getting interesting. I'm definitely going to have to jump in on some more games.
15 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1901: It's SOOO easy to get carried away. I'm playing like 28 games or something.
15 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: I really enjoy the games when I have one solid ally from the start, and don't have to stab anyone. Solo wins are great, but I find myself really enjoying the alliances. Got a great one going with a guy from Brussels in the WW4 game I'm in (35 players).
15 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: *LOL* Dang! I know it was hard today to not let myself doddle on the website while at work. I can see how I could get sucked into it for WAAAAAY too long. Though admittedly I did play a couple rounds.
15 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Oops. Bad clicky. Apparently my trigger finger got a little jumpy *LOL*. Lost a turn. Ah well.
15 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Of course, most games you've got to lie to someone and then stab them at just the right time! I find myself sending messages asap to all players at the start of a game, because often people will bond with the first friendly person to reach them. Then you can let the first move or two play out before you have to choose one over the other and then you can find yourself in good shape.
15 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Oops! Don't want to do that!

That's my WW4 game. I'm Nigeria. Egypt is my best ally. If you haven't discovered it yet, you can click on the little green arrow below the map to open a bigger one in a separate tab.
15 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Dang that's crazy!
15 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Imagine all the communication that goes into that!
15 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: But the beauty of this is that you only have to play the games that you know you can commit to, and you aren't required to communicate any more that you want to or can.
15 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Nice, 3 builds!
15 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1903: It's great! I love heady strategy games like these.
15 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Gunboat games are good for a different twist and if you want one that doesn't take as long. In gunboats, there is no comm, or maybe only global chat, so there isn't all that time taken up in negotiations. I prefer the full comm ones though, because I tend to do better when there's actual diplomacy involved.
15 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: This game definitely cuts into my sleep time ;)
15 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1904: *LOL* I imagine it does!
15 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1904: It is eating into mine right now. heh.
15 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Yup. Let;s finish this one off and I'm goin gto bed!
