Mod multis
No offense to anyone but im curious why mods are allowed to have multi accounts to test games. In this case, cant the average player have multiple accounts to experience the game played from different POVs as well?

Regarding the InteractiveMap-OrderInterface-

This is incredible. When did this feature happen?? Whoever made this, you have my thanks 1000000000 times. Makes entering moves on a cellular device infinitely easier. I just wanna say thanks!! So.... Thank you, creator of this.

Is this metagaming?
Recently, I was playing an anon gunboat game. I submitted my orders in advance. Next time I connected, the deadline was 5 minutes away, and the player I was fighting with had not submitted orders yet: he was going NMR. Is taking advantage of the (likely) NMR ok, or is it considered metagaming?

What is wrong with Mate against Mate?
I haven't noticed this in any other variants, though it may be true, but the colors are messed up in the big map of Mate against Mate. Why is that?

Can't Play?
Hey y'all, I started playing diplomacy online a few months back and bit off more than I could chew at the time, resulting in a negative NoCD and a NoNMR of 71.88%. As far as I can tell this means I can't play or even start any games. I think my record since then shows I'm actually more reliable. Is there anyway I can play here again?

CDed units destroys
Could somebody answer -- are units of CDed countries destroyed totally randomly?
I used to think that according to rules first should be removed units which do not keep any sc's.

There's a rule. It starts with the units furthest away from home SCs and ends at the home SCs.

Chapter XIV, Section 2 of the rules:

CIVIL DISORDER REMOVALS. If a country in civil disorder has to remove units, because it has lost supply centers, the unit farthest from home (most distant from the nearest home supply center as computed by the shortest available route, including convoys) is removed first, the fleet before the army. If more units are equally eligable fro removal than should be removed, priority is established by the names of the space in which they are located, the earliest in alphabetical order coming off first.

I've had the same doubt of nekudza.
Seeing the unit destroyed by Hungary in this game gameID=19363, I suppose official rules are not applied (or there is some bug)

No, the rules are applied correctly. Boh is not a Hungarian *home* SC. The unit in Ser is closer to Sze, which is a home SC for Hungary, than Boh was so the former unit is kept while the latter is destroyed.

Presently the adjudication of CD/NMR disbands does not follow this rule. My suggestion is that the Web Dip coding be written to match the rules of the game that you posted above.

I agree the default should certainly be the standard games rules, but if someone wanted to substitute different rules, then they should be stated from the start. Then anything can go, but aside from that, the standard rules should apply.
(myself, I would not mind changing to make any supply center held more important than a non supply center held closer to home.
EX. if you are Germany and need to disband (because you just got beat by USA soccer perhaps?) if it's between say an army in Bohemia or an army in Budapest, the standard rules would remove Budapest, I do not mind changing to instead remove Bohemia, but that's just me and that should not be the default, if such a change were made it would have to be clear and spelled out before the game started, the default should be the standard rules!!!

Enlarging the text/message screen
Just a quick query. Would there be any way to choose to enlarge the text/message screen within games so that you could see more of a long message at one time .. rather than having to scroll down a few lines at a time?

Cold War!
Hello people of vdip! Safari and I are getting close to finishing up our 2 player variant: Cold War. It's on the lab right now, but as you know, as a two player map its very important we get the balance right. It'd be great if you guys would create some games and play them out for us.
