27 Nov 20 UTC | Spring, 1901: GameMaster: Please remember that negotiations before the game begins are not allowed. |
30 Nov 20 UTC | Spring, 1901: Info: This is a choose your country game. |
30 Nov 20 UTC | Spring, 1901: Took the worst stat position so the game could get under way :-) Its Be Nice to Russia Week :-) |
30 Nov 20 UTC | Spring, 1901: What a nice guy |
07 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1902: This game has to be one of the games where I have seen the least actual diplomacy happening... do some of you think it is gunboat perhaps? |
11 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1902: This will take a while to fill but its the biggest game on vDip - https://www.vdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=46854 |
11 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1902: I was thinking of playing that, but I decided it took to long to finish. |
11 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1902: There's always a bigger fish.... https://vdiplomacy.com/board.php?gameID=46856 I'll admit the Europa Renovatio map is a ton of fun, but I'm already in one. |
12 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: :( You guys aren’t gonna drop out are you? I’m loving this game, even with the low amount of communication, it makes it tense lol |
13 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: I'm still in! |
13 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: I have to say, in my 170 odd games, this is about the most silent game I've ever been in, with the very pleasant exception of Japan. Maybe some of you guys should consider playing gunboat... no need to talk to anyone in those games. |
13 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: I would talk more but the only people who communicate consistently, with the exception of Japan, are on the other side of the board. |
13 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: Yeah, China just doesn't see any point in talking at all, despite him being right in the centre of the whole map... bizarre. I guess he likes to fight everyone at once. |
14 Dec 20 UTC | Spring, 1903: I'm just busy you guys - work a lot of hours. willing to work with people |
17 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Well, I was right at the start, the stats don't lie.... Russia has zero chance in this variant. |
17 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1903: France was the second worse, so I can't complain about how I'm doing. |
17 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1903: You're right, but I'm next to Turkey, whose stats run at pretty much double the next best... and its not hard to see why... Russia is defenseless in this variant. |
23 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Hey I just wanted to say, I appreciate how thus far everyone has put in their orders on time and we haven’t had any delays. The other game I was playing (on a different site) had been going on for like a month~ to 6 weeks and we had just started year 1904 and we had 2 day turns as well. I left after that point. |
25 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1904: GameMaster: China voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Concede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat. |
25 Dec 20 UTC | Autumn, 1904: China: Voting Concede doesn't actually do anything in this game. |
